dPhish Brings New Cybersecurity Experiences to FDC Summit 2026

dPhish was proud to participate in FDC Summit 2026 as a Value-Added Partner, bringing together cybersecurity professionals, technology leaders, and organizations for three days of conversations, learning, and hands-on experiences.

Our participation went beyond showcasing our all-in-one anti-phishing solution. Throughout the event, visitors had the opportunity to interact with our team, explore our cybersecurity capabilities, and take part in experiences designed to make cybersecurity more practical, engaging, and memorable.

From the dPhish CTF competition to our interactive cybersecurity escape room, the event gave attendees different ways to experience the challenges of modern cyber defense while discovering how organizations can strengthen their ability to prevent, detect, and respond to evolving threats.

Connecting with the Cybersecurity Community

Throughout the event, our team engaged in discussions around the growing complexity of phishing attacks, social engineering, threat intelligence, employee awareness, and the importance of proactive cybersecurity strategies.

As phishing attacks become increasingly sophisticated, organizations need to approach cybersecurity from multiple angles. Technical controls remain essential, but organizations also need visibility into emerging threats, informed employees, effective security processes, and the ability to respond quickly when an incident occurs.

These conversations reinforced the importance of taking a comprehensive approach to phishing protection—one that combines technology, intelligence, awareness, and practical readiness.

The dPhish CTF: Putting Cybersecurity Skills to the Test

One of the highlights of our participation was the dPhish CTF competition, which challenged participants to put their cybersecurity skills and analytical thinking to the test.

The competition was designed around a realistic phishing investigation scenario, giving participants the opportunity to work through security-related challenges and investigate information to uncover the right answers.

Rather than focusing on traditional CTF categories such as cryptography, reverse engineering, or web exploitation, the dPhish CTF centered around a practical cybersecurity scenario involving phishing and threat investigation.

This approach reflected an important part of our mission: helping security professionals understand how real-world phishing threats can be identified and investigated at FDC Summit.

The competition also provided an opportunity for participants to work with security information in a way that mirrors the challenges faced by security teams in real environments. It encouraged analytical thinking, investigation, attention to detail, and the ability to connect different pieces of information to understand a potential attack.

For dPhish, the CTF was not simply a competition. It was an opportunity to bring cybersecurity concepts to life and encourage the next generation of security professionals to develop practical investigation skills.

An Interactive Escape Room Experience

Another major attraction at the dPhish booth was our cybersecurity escape room, which brought a more interactive and immersive element to the event.

Participants were placed in a simulated scenario where they had to investigate clues, identify information, solve challenges, and work together to progress through the experience.

The escape room was designed around cybersecurity themes while keeping the experience accessible and engaging. Instead of simply explaining cybersecurity concepts, it gave participants an opportunity to experience the importance of observation, teamwork, problem-solving, and quick decision-making in a simulated environment.

This type of hands-on experience reflects an important principle behind effective security awareness training: people are more likely to remember and apply what they actively experience.

For organizations, cybersecurity awareness is not only about telling employees what a phishing email looks like. It is about helping them understand why attackers use certain techniques, how social engineering works, what warning signs to look for, and how they should respond when something appears suspicious.

Making Cybersecurity More Engaging at FDC Summit

The CTF and escape room were both designed to make cybersecurity more interactive.

Cybersecurity can often feel highly technical or difficult to approach, particularly for people who do not work directly in information security. Interactive experiences provide a way to make security concepts easier to understand while encouraging participants to actively think about how threats work.

This is particularly relevant to phishing awareness training, where employee behavior plays an important role in an organization’s overall security posture.

At dPhish, we believe effective awareness should go beyond static training materials. Organizations need ways to continuously engage employees, test their readiness, and help them develop better security habits.

That philosophy is reflected in our approach to phishing simulations and security awareness, where organizations can assess employee readiness while building greater awareness of phishing and social engineering risks.

Exploring the dPhish Anti-Phishing Solution

Alongside the event experiences, our team also showcased how dPhish helps organizations address phishing threats through an integrated approach to cybersecurity.

Our anti-phishing solution brings together capabilities designed to help organizations prevent, detect, and respond to phishing attacks. These include advanced phishing detection, threat intelligence, phishing simulations, security awareness training, email threat analysis, and phishing incident response.

By bringing these capabilities together, dPhish helps organizations gain a more complete understanding of their phishing risk and strengthen their defenses across both technical and human layers.

Phishing protection is no longer simply about blocking malicious emails. Modern organizations need to understand the threats targeting them, identify suspicious activity quickly, assess human risk, and ensure employees know how to respond appropriately.

A Meaningful FDC Summit Experience

Our participation in FDC Summit 2026 was an opportunity to bring together different aspects of what we do at dPhish—from cybersecurity technology and threat detection to awareness, education, and hands-on experiences.

The CTF challenged participants to investigate and think critically. The escape room introduced cybersecurity concepts through an interactive experience. Our platform demonstrations provided visitors with a closer look at how organizations can strengthen their phishing defenses.

Most importantly, the event gave us the opportunity to listen, exchange ideas, and engage directly with the cybersecurity community.

We would like to thank everyone who visited the dPhish booth, participated in the CTF, took on the escape room challenge, joined our discussions, and spent time with our team throughout FDC Summit 2026.

Every conversation and interaction contributed to an event that was not only about cybersecurity technology, but also about building awareness, encouraging collaboration, and making security more engaging.
