DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with software developers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to build, automate, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to streamline deployment processes, optimize system performance, and ensure the availability and security of our environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure, primarily on Azure (AWS/GCP is a plus).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement security best practices, access controls, and infrastructure hardening measures.
• Design and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Collaborate with Development and IT teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
• Continuously identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure (AWS and Google Cloud are a plus).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD methodologies.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of mail servers and email infrastructure is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good English skills, both written and spoken.

Preferred Certifications

• Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar cloud certifications.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Familiarity with Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and security monitoring solutions.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
